Arrival in Bayeux Possibility to visit The Bayeux Tapestry and the Memorial Museum Dinner and accommodation at the Grand hotel du Luxembourg. The Hotel has a beautiful classical facade, luxurious interior and a fine restaurant. This is a stop to remember in the heart of the old Norman city. |

Start from the hotel to GOLD BEACH Visit ARROMANCHES with its mulberries including the LANDING MUSEUM. Visit the Longues battery field and then visit a Calvados distillery to discover the traditions and methods of producing calvados with the stills and the cellar (tasting of product). Dinner and accommodation at the Chateau La Chenev ier in PORT EN BESSIN. La Chenevier is an 18th century chateau situated between Omaha Beach, where the American forces landed on D Day 1944. There are 29 luxury rooms, each with a garden view and all individually decorated in a harmony of floral designs. The luxurious facilities will appeal to the most fastidious traveller. Route to the POINTE DU HOC overlooking OMAHA BEACH and discovery of the site. Then route along the coast and visit at ST LAURENT SUR MER/OMAHA BEACH, with the American cemeteries. You will continue your trip to discover the German cemetery of La cambe. Transfer by car to the hotel . Dinner and accommodation at the "Chateau of Quineville". Surrounded by 12 hectares of land with a water feature, the "Chateau of Quineville" built in the XVIIIth century, was the residence of James II Stuart, and has maintained a sense of his spirit and historical riches. |

Route to STE MERE EGLISE to see the marker KM 0 of the Liberty Highway and visit at the Airborne Troops Museum : the true story of the Longest day. Visite the UTAH BEACH. Transfer by car from Carentan to Audrieu. Dinner and accommodation at the Chateau of Audrieu. After the entrance gates leading to the main courtyard, this harmonious architectural jewel consisting of a central building flanked by advancing wings, preceded by flower beds a la francaise, welcomes its guests with the refined charm of discreet luxury and the conviviality of a family home. |
